Aunt Kathy's Birthday

We took a quick trip up to Columbia Falls for Kathy's birthday Party(Mason's sister). We practiced saying Happy Birthday Kathy with Myra the whole way up,but by the time we got there she was shy and wouldn't even say Kathy. I wish we could have gotten a picture of Kathy's face as we pulled into their campsite. She had no idea that we were coming up. Every year for her birthday they go camping and MAN DO THEY GO CAMPING!!! On our way back down the campsite we had to drive over some trees because the road had washed out. It was Myra's first time in the woods. So fun to see her play. The lake was very low...they are expecting a huge runoff this year so this is the lowest the lake has ever been. It was pretty cool to walk down in the lake and see all the tree stumps that doesn't decompose. We love Kathy and hope she had a great day!!!

The New House

Sorry about the clutter...just try to ignore it all. I bought myself some new furniture for Mothers Day ;) and we got a used table. I now know how our good friends the Elgueda's feel about glass tables. They get finger prints all over them. When I wash it I have to wash the top and the bottom because Myra play's under there and touches the the top of the glass. It is a little annoying. Our bedroom is huge. To the right is our walk in closet which is basically a whole other room. We call that the babies room.

Myra's play area. This is next to the dining area

This is Kandie being a big girl in her bumbo seat.

Kandie's baby blessing

Kandie's baby blessing happened on Grandma Louis's birthday this year; May 1st. Lots of friends and family joined this special occasion. It was a wonderful day.

Myra was showing her cousins and aunt and uncle her back yard.

Moved

Well we are here in Bozeman, MT. I was going to post some pictures but our computer won't read the USB drive...Weird...But anyway's we are renting a basement until we can find a house to buy. The place feels huge...2000 sq ft...All of our stuff is almost unpacked and it still echoes. For mothers day I bought some furniture so we can have a place to sit. We didn't bring any furniture up so we have been sitting on the stairs whenever we want to rest. But it gets here tomorrow. yipee!!! Babies are waking up...I will post some pictures next time.

Our address is:

Mmm Chocolate

Nothing is better than chocolate frosting. For Monte's birthday Myra helped me make the cake, or at least clean up the frosting.

Since last time I posted, Mason has gotten a job in Bozeman, where he starts May 9th. So we are getting things packed up slowly and preparing for the baby to come. Also remember the last post when I said how we always go to the doctor on a holiday? Well today just proves it. We were supposed to see the doctor on Wednesday, but he called in sick and we got re-scheduled for April 1st, which is April Fools day...;) Hilarious!!! I didn't realize it until I got on facebook to find people trying to play April Fools jokes. I have learned to not trust anyone this one day of the year. Especially in Rexburg, ID. It seems the only prank anyone can think of is saying that they are engaged to someone. It gets old after a while.

So back to the job Mason got...we went down there to look for housing and see the jobsite and everything. We stayed at the Stake President's house, because Mason already has a connection down there from when he went to school before his mission. They had a little cupboard filled with toys and Myra would get them out all the time and play with them. Mason started to join in after she convinced him how fun it was.

Later this week I was letting Myra color and I noticed she was really quiet. Usually she is talking about what she is coloring. I peeked out to find her stuffing the crayons up her sleeve. I guess it could be a good place to store them when you need them ;)

Portland Get Away

Spring break has come and gone, But we were able to get away for a couple of days. We were planning on leaving Tuesday the 15th, but had to stay until Thursday the 17th, for another doctors appointment. I swear we go to the doctors office on every holiday you can think of. We were there well 2 days after Christmas, Valentines day, and now St. Patrick's day. We should just plan on going in on April fools day ;).

It was nice to get away and take a break from everything. We went to Portland with our friends Miguel, Jeri, and Audri. We saw the Falls, Japanese garden, the Chinese garden,k and of course the Zoo. Gardens are so calming and peaceful. When we went to the Japanese garden we left Myra and Audri with Miguel's parents so it was really nice ;) We took Myra with us to the Chinese garden. She did pretty good. There was one duck in the water and that made her day.

The zoo, of course, was the best part. Myra skipped her nap for it, but she was okay with it. She is such a social bug. She kept trying to tell the kids around her what they were looking at. "see bear...cat...bird" It was cute! The zoo was so full that we had to take the shuttle bus in. Myra was asleep for the ride in, but woke right up as we started walking around the zoo. On the way back she was awake and realized how cool it was to not wear a seatbelt. She was standing on the seat and looking out the windows. Overall we had a fun trip. Thanks Jeri and Miguel for inviting us!!!
